In the final game, Shadowood Mortgage and & MGI Softball were tied
at the end of 7 innings. The only way to decide it, have a
home-run derby! Each team gets to send up 2 batters who each get 2
pitches to get a home-run. If Shadowood won, they win the game. If
MGI won, they woud have to play another game.
First
up was MGI; 2 batters up, and 4 pitches later they were done.
Brendan Merritt from Shadowood comes up and on the first pitch,
hits it out of the park.
CONGRATULATIONS to Shadowood Mortgage
on being the 2007 Softball Tournament Champions. We'd also like to
thank them because they gracially donated $500 of their $2000
winning back to the Pitch for Kids Fund.
