On Sunday October 28th
the Hudson Valley Renegades and the Pitch for Kids Fund held their
annual Bowl-A-Thon at the Hoe Bowl on Rt 9 in Wappinger Falls. The event
was filled with bowlers in all different types of Halloween Costumes,
including a team of M & M’s, a team of prisoners and a Team from
Gilligan’s Island. Some of the individual costume standouts were Pee Wee
Herman, a Leprechaun, a ladybug, a Pilot, a 60’s Go Go dancer, and Jack
Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean.
All in attendance were blown away
by the over 450 prizes that were given out throughout the day.
Three
individuals left with Grand prizes a weekend to Rocking Horse Ranch for
a family of four, a Pair of Airline tickets on Air Tran to any where in
the United States
and a I-Pod Shuffle along with an I-Home
sound system.
